Engine weight has been reduced by 10%, while durability standard is now up to 1,6 million kilometres, 33% greater than its predecessor.
The high torque available at low engine speeds (downspeeding) permits the use of faster rear axle ratios. The lower engine RPMs when travelling on motorways allows the engine to use less fuel.
